My love for the road in a vehicle I can't afford; visiting places with a plan I don't have (ripped from Baby Driver). Sipping in the way of life of people I don't know, jotting down the moments with my loved ones. Keeping close at heart the memories that will be made, and be reminisced about in years to come. For at the end, these treasures are more than silver or gold.
After an hour or so, the boats returned us back to the location near where they picked us up. From there, we booked a mini van to bring us back to Bangkok. The mini van ride was a little more expensive but it was a more comfortable ride. Again, it took another 2 hours to reach back. From the bus station, we took a cab down to Chinatown to look see and catch lunch. The weather was tremendously hot and we were not particularly in a good mood. Nevertheless, we spotted a street side hawker and choose to have lunch under a shady carpark entrance. The food was pretty good actually.
